Walmart launched its Walmart+ membership program in Canada, marking its first international expansion outside the United States. The service replaces the existing Delivery Pass program and automatically transitions current members.

Subscriptions cost C$8.97 monthly or C$89 annually. Members receive unlimited free same-day delivery on orders exceeding $35. The plan includes free shipping from Walmart.ca with no minimum order requirement.

The membership includes a subscription to the Crave streaming service. Walmart+ is currently the only Canadian retail membership to bundle Crave as a built-in benefit. This move positions the company to compete directly against Amazon Prime in the Canadian market.

Walmart originally launched the program in the U.S. in September 2020. This expansion signals the company's intent to scale subscription services globally.
