Walmart has signed a new multi-year agreement with Zipline to add 300 drone delivery sites across the United States, with the potential for further expansion.
The program has completed more than 2 million drone deliveries since Walmart and Zipline began their partnership in 2021.
The service can deliver tens of thousands of items. Deliveries can arrive in as little as 30 minutes, giving customers a faster option.
The investment reflects Walmart’s effort to use technology to strengthen its fulfillment capabilities and remain competitive in retail.
