BPI Wealth launched peso share classes for its World Technology Feeder Fund and Global Equity Fund of Funds on June 18. This initiative allows local investors to access global markets with a minimum investment of P1,000. The move eliminates currency conversion requirements to encourage portfolio diversification among Filipino investors.

The launch coincides with a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) review of a recent multi-day digital banking outage at BPI. The central bank is investigating the incident to ensure service restoration and determine potential accountability for the disruption.

Separately, BPI designated June 18 as the payment date for its previously announced cash dividend.
