BPI Wealth, the asset management arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, said its assets under management (AUM) exceeded P2 trillion. At the end of June, AUM reached P2.06 trillion, up 5% from the end of the previous quarter.
Despite market volatility, the firm projects AUM will grow 17% to 18% by the end of 2026. It attributed investor interest in diversification to the need to navigate inflation and currency weakness, with Filipino investors increasingly seeking fixed-income securities and global investment funds.
Offshore investments account for 15% to 20% of total AUM, reflecting growing interest in international diversification.
