NVIDIA has begun marketing its new Arm-based Vera server CPUs to Chinese cloud computing customers. Deliveries for the processors are scheduled to start as early as August 2026.

The 88-core Vera CPU is designed specifically for AI inference tasks. This hardware is not currently subject to the stringent U.S. export restrictions that halted NVIDIA’s high-performance AI GPU shipments.

At least one major Chinese cloud provider has placed an initial order for over 300 Vera servers for testing. The move represents a strategic effort to reclaim market share lost after U.S. trade curbs curtailed NVIDIA's regional presence.
