At its GTC conference in Berlin, NVIDIA announced agreements with supply-chain partners to expand manufacturing capacity for its AI platforms.

NVIDIA plans to increase substrate capacity 2.5x over three years with IBIDEN, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Unimicron.

Amkor plans to increase advanced packaging capacity by more than 300% by 2028. SPIL plans to increase optical-engine capacity 15x by mid-2027.

NVIDIA has already dedicated $279 billion to suppliers to secure future parts and manufacturing space. The company also announced a $1.1 billion advance to KYEC for new U.S. facilities.
