Nike signed San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama to a long-term contract extension on July 31, 2026. This agreement secures the athlete ahead of his previous contract expiration in October 2026.
The deal includes the creation of the Wemby 1, Wembanyama’s first signature shoe and personal logo. This partnership places him on Nike’s elite signature roster alongside LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
Wembanyama recently earned the Defensive Player of the Year award. He also led the San Antonio Spurs to the NBA Finals during the preceding season.
