Volvo Car AB withdrew its full-year sales and cash-flow outlook for 2026 on Friday, citing a significant deterioration in China and a slower-than-expected recovery in the United States. The company said these conditions would have a significant negative impact on third-quarter core earnings and cash flow.

In the third quarter, sales in Greater China fell 40%. Sales in the Americas dropped 14%.

Volvo Car shares fell as much as 7.8% in early trading in Stockholm after the announcement. The company will not issue a new near-term forecast due to increased market uncertainty. It will provide further details with its full third-quarter report on October 23.
