Microsoft is developing a unified AI super app to consolidate fragmented Copilot services. Executive Vice President of Copilot Jacob Andreou oversees the project. The platform combines consumer and enterprise versions of Copilot. It also integrates GitHub Copilot for coding.
The application reportedly includes a new agentic feature called Autopilot. Leaked screenshots reveal a proactive AI agent named Scout. Users can toggle between personal and work-related assistance within the single interface.
The move addresses customer feedback regarding the complexity of navigating multiple AI tools. Microsoft intends to compete more effectively against rivals like OpenAI. The company will not announce the app at its upcoming Build conference. Microsoft projects a public launch for the end of summer 2026.
