Enbridge Secures C$2.7B From KKR and Apollo, Expanding Critical BC Pipelines

Enbridge Inc. signed a definitive agreement with KKR and Apollo to form a new joint venture.

The partnership provides C$2.7 billion to expand the Westcoast natural gas pipeline system in British Columbia. This funding supports the previously approved Aspen Point and Sunrise Expansion Programs.

Long-term, take-or-pay contracts commercially back the expansion projects to ensure secured demand. The Westcoast pipeline serves natural gas needs in British Columbia and the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

The infrastructure also facilitates international exports through Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals.
