TotalEnergies lowered its estimated second-quarter production loss from 360,000 to 210,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (kboe/d).
The company attributed the improved outlook to a production ramp-up in the offshore United Arab Emirates. Operations in other regional countries also restarted during June.
Total hydrocarbon production for the quarter is now expected to reach nearly 2.4 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. However, logistical disruptions prevented the lifting of a significant portion of this output during the period.
