ADNOC and partners TotalEnergies, Eni, and CNPC approved a $6.2 billion investment for the Umm Shaif Gas Cap project. This offshore development supports ADNOC’s strategy to expand natural gas production and its global LNG portfolio.
The project aims to produce over 600 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. This output represents nearly 10% of the UAE’s current daily consumption.
Production will begin by 2030. The supply will fuel domestic industrial needs, power AI infrastructure, and serve international customers.
