Sun Pharmaceutical Industries announced that UNLOXCYT® (cosibelimab-ipdl) received a Category 2A preferred designation in the updated National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) guidelines. The recommendation covers patients with locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (laCSCC) who are not candidates for curative surgery or radiation.
The designation reflects growing recognition of the drug as a treatment option for this challenging condition. It may support wider physician adoption in the U.S. and help establish insurance reimbursement pathways.
