Leaked renders of Samsung's upcoming smart glasses reveal a design nearly identical to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The initial model, reportedly codenamed "Jinju," is expected to launch later in 2026 and will not feature a built-in display, focusing instead on camera and AI functionalities powered by Google's Gemini.
This entry-level device will run on the Android XR operating system and is positioned as a direct competitor to Meta's current smart glasses, with a rumored price point between $379 and $499. A second, more advanced model with a micro-LED display, codenamed "Haean," is reportedly planned for a 2027 release. This two-tier strategy suggests Samsung is targeting both the current display-free market and the future augmented reality space.
