Samsung Electronics' Donghang Labor Union filed a provisional injunction with a South Korean court. This legal action aims to block an ongoing vote on a tentative wage agreement.

The union represents approximately 13,000 workers in the mobile and consumer electronics divisions. Leadership argues members were unfairly excluded from the vote after withdrawing from the joint bargaining committee.

The tentative agreement offers semiconductor workers bonuses reaching 600 million won ($398,000). In contrast, consumer electronics staff would receive 6 million won in company stock.
