State Bank of India raised $7.5 billion through the Reserve Bank of India’s concessional swap window. The bank initiated the move to bolster its foreign currency liquidity.

Fundraising involved a combination of FCNR(B) deposits and overseas currency borrowings. SBI secured approximately 20% of the total funds garnered by all banks under this facility.

The collection demonstrates the bank's strong international standing and access to global financial markets.
