CFM International, a joint venture between Safran and GE Aerospace, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Turkish Airlines for a major engine order.
The agreement includes the purchase of over 300 LEAP-1B engines and spare parts. These units will power 100 firm and 50 optional Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The deal also establishes a long-term service agreement covering more than 600 LEAP-1B engines. This total encompasses new orders as well as engines already in the airline's service.
Signed in Istanbul, the partnership supports Turkish Airlines' ongoing fleet expansion plans. The LEAP engine family continues to serve as a key revenue driver for Safran.
