Rolls-Royce expanded its Pacific defense business through a broadened partnership with Australia-based Marand Precision Engineering. The collaboration focuses on supplying naval gas turbine propulsion packages for the Type 26 Global Combat Ship program. This initiative aims to create new export opportunities within the maritime sector.
The company also established a new regional Defence Headquarters in Canberra. This facility supports the Australian Defence Force and enhances sovereign industrial capability. The Canberra hub coordinates defense activities across the Pacific Rim, complementing existing operations in Sydney and at various Australian defense bases.
