Rolls-Royce will invest £300 million in manufacturing and engineering facilities across the UK to expand its aerospace and defence capabilities. The investment is intended to meet growing manufacturing demand and support future programmes.
The investment forms part of a broader £3 billion commitment to the company’s UK operations since 2023. More than £140 million will go to civil aerospace facilities in Derby. More than £90 million will upgrade the Bristol site for defence programmes.
Rolls-Royce also plans to invest in facilities in Inchinnan (Glasgow), Rotherham and Ansty to expand manufacturing capacity and improve efficiency. The upgrades are expected to be completed between 2028 and 2031.
