Roche reported pivotal results from its Phase III KRAScendo 1 study, showing that experimental drug divarasib was more effective than current treatments for previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. [1, 5]

Divarasib reduced the overall risk of death by 44% compared with sotorasib or adagrasib, drugs from Amgen and Bristol-Myers Squibb. [1, 5] Median overall survival was approximately 18 months with divarasib, compared with 12 months with the rival drugs. [5]

Presented at the 2026 ESMO Congress and published in The New England Journal of Medicine, the results could position divarasib as a new standard of care for this patient group. [5] Roche also presented positive Phase III data for sefaxersen, a treatment for chronic kidney disease, at ASN Kidney Week 2026. [2]
