Qualcomm Incorporated appointed Sergio Buniac as executive vice president and group general manager of its Mobile, Compute, and Personal AI division.
The appointment takes effect September 2.
Buniac will report directly to CEO Cristiano Amon.
He will oversee business units for smartphones, personal computing, smart wearables, and XR.
Buniac previously served as President of Motorola Devices during a 30-year tenure at the company.
His role focuses on expanding Snapdragon platforms for the agentic AI era.
