Orla Mining resumed operations at its Camino Rojo Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico, on June 5, 2026. The restart follows the end of an illegal blockade by unionized workers that began on June 1. The dispute originated from a disagreement regarding bonus payments.
Discussions involving the company, union representatives, and the Mexican Department of Federal Labour Conciliation resolved the work stoppage. Orla Mining continues to negotiate with employees to reach a mutually beneficial agreement on the remaining bonus issues.
The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 gold production guidance for the Camino Rojo mine. Production targets remain between 110,000 and 120,000 ounces. This resolution removes a significant operational uncertainty for the company.
