Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron Technology as certified HBM4 memory suppliers for the upcoming Vera Rubin AI platform. The announcement, delivered in Seoul, clarifies the company’s long-term memory roadmap.
The Vera Rubin architecture succeeds the current Blackwell platform. The new platform has already entered full production. Nvidia expects initial shipments to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
By securing all three major manufacturers, Nvidia aims to diversify its supply chain for critical AI components. This strategy addresses potential infrastructure bottlenecks and reflects high demand forecasts for next-generation AI hardware.
