Nvidia and Microsoft plan to unveil the first Windows PCs powered by Nvidia’s Arm-based processors next week. The debut will occur during the Computex trade show in Taiwan and Microsoft’s Build developer conference.
This initiative marks Nvidia’s expansion into the personal computer market currently dominated by Intel and AMD. The new chips prioritize on-device artificial intelligence for a specialized category of AI PCs.
Microsoft will integrate the processors into its Surface line, while Dell also prepares to launch compatible hardware. Coordinated social media teasers from Nvidia, Microsoft, and Arm preceded the announcement.
