Micron Technology introduced a suite of AI-optimized memory and storage solutions at COMPUTEX 2026. The portfolio supports AI workloads across data centers and edge devices like smartphones and AI PCs. Memory bandwidth and capacity now serve as the primary drivers for system performance.

The new GDDR7 graphics memory provides up to 60% more bandwidth than GDDR6. This technology accelerates AI inference, gaming, and high-performance computing tasks.

Micron also expanded its LPCAMM2 memory modules featuring LPDDR5X DRAM. These modules use up to 80% less standby power than previous designs. This expansion allows for thinner AI-ready laptops as Micron targets the shift from cloud to edge computing.
