Match Group is eliminating its Chief Operating Officer position as part of a broader leadership and organizational restructuring. Hesam Hosseini, a 15-year company veteran, will depart the organization effective June 2, 2026. Hosseini currently serves as both COO and CEO of Evergreen & Emerging Brands.
The executive shake-up follows ongoing difficulties for the Tinder and Hinge parent in attracting and retaining Generation Z users. Management is streamlining operations to better adapt to a shifting market where younger demographics are increasingly exploring alternatives to traditional dating platforms.
