GE Aerospace Lands $2.87 Billion Navy Contract for Super Hornet Engines

The U.S. Navy awarded GE Aerospace a five-year performance-based logistics contract. The agreement carries a maximum ceiling of $2.87 billion.

GE Aerospace will maintain 17 components for F414 engines. These engines power the Navy’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler fleets.

The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support manages the contract. The performance period extends through August 2031. The Navy funded an initial delivery order of $198.2 million.

GE Aerospace will perform 90% of the work in Lynn, Massachusetts. The company will conduct the remaining 10% in Jacksonville, Florida.
