BYD has launched the second-generation Seagull, an updated hatchback priced under $10,000. It is larger than its predecessor and now seats five, up from four.
The new model features a second-generation Blade Battery with Flash-Charging technology. For certain variants, the system reportedly charges the battery from 10% to 70% in five minutes.
For the first time, buyers can also choose a LiDAR-based driver-assistance system, DiPilot 300 “God’s Eye,” which includes features such as City Navigation on Autopilot.
