BYD entered the UK light commercial vehicle (LCV) market by debuting the Dolphin Cargo e-Van at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026. This expansion targets the commercial fleet sector as logistics companies face pressure to decarbonize urban deliveries.
The e-Van adapts the Dolphin hatchback to provide over 1,000 liters of load space. It offers a city driving range of up to 347 miles (WLTP).
The launch leverages BYD's existing UK passenger car presence to capture new customers. UK businesses are currently transitioning to electric fleets.
