ASML is the world's leading manufacturer of chip-making equipment. The company began construction on a new Dutch industrial campus on September 8, 2026. This facility represents the company's second major campus in the Netherlands.
The site is located at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) North in Eindhoven. This multi-phase project will eventually accommodate up to 20,000 workplaces. The first phase will house at least 3,000 employees.
Developers expect to complete this initial stage by 2029. The expansion targets a production backlog for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines. Current orders for these essential tools are booked through the end of 2027.
