Amazon scheduled Prime Day 2026 for June 23 through June 26. This marks the second time since 2021 that the company has moved the event from its traditional July timeframe.

The four-day event avoids scheduling conflicts with the FIFA World Cup and the U.S. 250th anniversary. The members-only sale will feature deals across more than 35 categories.

Moving the event to June positions a primary sales driver within the second financial quarter. Competitors must now adjust their own promotional calendars to align with the new dates.
