Amazon MGM Studios and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced the launch of the GenAI Creators' Fund, an initiative to provide filmmakers and digital creators with funding and access to professional-grade AI tools. The fund aims to bring together established and digital-first creators to produce cinematic entertainment using new generative AI workflows.

The first projects greenlit under the fund are three animated series for Prime Video: "Cupcake & Friends," "Love, Diana Music Hunters," and "Punky Duck." These productions will be powered by "Project Nara," a new, purpose-built AI production platform developed by Amazon MGM Studios on AWS. Project Nara is a collaborative workspace that integrates with professional tools to support both animation and live-action workflows.
