Delta Air Lines became the first North American customer for the Airbus HBCplus in-flight connectivity solution. The airline will install the system on 20 new A350-1000 aircraft. This multi-orbit technology provides flexibility by connecting to various satellite providers. Hughes will co-develop the solution with Delta using the Airbus platform as a foundation.

Air India also selected the Hughes connectivity solution for its A350-1000 fleet. This agreement utilizes the Airbus HBCplus platform to enhance the airline's digital services. These partnerships highlight Airbus's expanding role in the global in-flight connectivity ecosystem.

Airbus is also developing a new private first-class suite for the A350-1000. The upgraded cabin will feature a convertible sofa designed for two passengers.
