ADUSA Distribution and Americold Realty Trust will wind down operations at two automated distribution facilities.
The Plainville, CT fulfillment center will idle immediately. The Lancaster, PA facility will cease operations by December 31, 2026.
Neither party incurred termination fees or penalties under the agreement. The deal includes a mutual release from all claims for both companies.
Both companies agreed to expand and renew their business relationship across other assets in Americold’s network. Americold expects to record a significant non-cash impairment charge related to the closures.
