BYD debuted the Atto 8 flagship electric SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle features Flash Charging technology and a 115-kilowatt-hour battery. The system recharges the battery from 10% to 97% in nine minutes. This speed relies on BYD’s second-generation LFP battery technology.

BYD plans to install 3,000 dedicated ultra-fast charging stations globally. The company aims to complete this network within the next year. The premium Atto 8 features a three-row seating configuration. The interior includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in. BYD expects to open orders for the vehicle in early 2027.
