The U.S. Space Force selected York Space Systems to compete for task orders under the National Space Test and Training Complex Innovative Technology and Engineering (NITE-STAR) contract. This selection marks York’s eighth contract win in 2026. The NITE-STAR program provides live and synthetic ranges for operators to train against real-world threats.
York will provide integrated space and ground system capabilities by pairing its satellite platforms with the global ground network of its subsidiary, ATLAS Space Operations. The contract expands York’s mission portfolio beyond communications and into adjacent defense markets.
