XPeng Inc. launched production of its first right-hand-drive (RHD) G9L SUVs at its Guangzhou factory on September 11, 2026. The initial shipment of these flagship vehicles is bound for Australia.
This rollout marks a major phase in the company’s plan to enter 64 countries and regions. Future markets for the G9L include the UK and parts of Southeast Asia.
RHD production supports XPeng’s strategy to accelerate international sales growth. Management targets exceeding 60,000 monthly sales in the fourth quarter of 2026. Global expansion with the G9L model remains central to achieving this volume objective.
