Dollar General is expanding its in-store media capabilities through a partnership with advertising provider QSIC.
The retailer will deploy an AI-enabled audio network across approximately 6,000 stores nationwide. This initiative provides localized audio for shoppers and data-driven advertising for brand partners.
The rollout will double the company's existing in-store audio presence. This expansion will bring the total number of enabled stores to 12,000.
Dollar General expects to complete the full deployment by the second quarter of 2026. QSIC’s platform will manage and monetize these advertisements to create a new revenue stream.
This move follows a retail trend of building in-house media networks to monetize physical locations.
