Raytheon, an RTX business, secured a $3.7 billion contract to supply Patriot GEM-T interceptors to Ukraine. This direct commercial sale aims to replenish Ukraine’s inventory of the combat-proven air and missile defense system. The system defends against airborne threats, including tactical ballistic missiles.

Raytheon is increasing production capacity to meet rising international demand for advanced air defense. A new GEM-T production facility in Schrobenhausen, Germany, will fulfill this and future orders. This facility operates as a joint venture with MBDA Deutschland to enhance supply chain resilience.

The Patriot system currently serves as a foundational air defense platform for 19 countries.
