The Pentagon awarded Lockheed Martin a 10-year contract for the C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (MATS). The deal carries a potential value of up to $1.9 billion. This sole-source, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) agreement ensures ongoing support for the transport aircraft.

Lockheed Martin will provide training devices, courseware, logistics, and engineering services. These resources support aircrews and maintenance personnel across the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

The award provides long-term revenue visibility for the company’s mission systems division. It secures Lockheed Martin’s role in maintaining the operational readiness of the global Super Hercules fleet.
