RTX business unit Collins Aerospace announced five contracts from Bell Textron Inc. on April 13, 2026. The agreement covers critical systems for the U.S. Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), designated as the MV-75.
Collins will supply main power generation, interconnect drive systems, and SmartProbe® air data systems. The contract also includes cockpit seating and ice protection systems.
The FLRAA program aims to double the speed and range of the Army's current rotorcraft fleet. This selection signals the program's transition from design to production, establishing a long-term revenue stream for Collins Aerospace.
The development serves as a key catalyst for the aerospace and defense sector and investors in ETFs like XAR.
