Verizon began accepting pre-orders for Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, on October 16, 2026. The launch also includes the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.

Demand has been high. Within an hour of pre-orders opening, Apple’s delivery estimates had slipped into early 2027.

The iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch folding display and starts at $1,999. Verizon is offering trade-in deals of up to $1,200 for the device to new and existing customers on eligible plans.

While Apple’s direct orders face significant delays, some carrier-specific offers, including Verizon’s, initially showed delivery dates in November and December. The new iPhones are set to become widely available on October 23.
