Valmont Industries (VMI) shares reached a new 52-week high of $548.90. The rally followed a strong first-quarter earnings report and an upgraded 2026 financial outlook.

First-quarter profit increased 27.5% to $108 million. Earnings per share reached $5.51, exceeding analyst estimates. Revenue grew 6.2% year-over-year to $1.03 billion. Sales in the Infrastructure segment rose 14.1% during the period.

Valmont raised its full-year 2026 earnings guidance to a range of $21.50 to $23.50 per share. Management cited strong demand for utility infrastructure as the primary growth driver. Grid modernization and increasing power needs are fueling this performance.
