NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang introduced the RTX Spark superchip at Computex Taipei 2026. Developed in deep collaboration with Microsoft, the hardware targets a new class of AI Personal Computers designed to function as personal agents.
Major manufacturers including Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, MSI, and Microsoft Surface will release the first wave of these devices in fall 2026. The RTX Spark integrates CPU and GPU capabilities to provide over 1 petaflop of AI performance. This architecture enables large language models and generative AI applications to run locally and efficiently.
The initiative represents a strategic move to expand NVIDIA’s AI dominance from data centers into the consumer PC market. This transition is expected to trigger a significant hardware upgrade cycle for the global PC industry.
