NVIDIA confirmed its entry into the personal computer market ahead of CEO Jensen Huang’s COMPUTEX 2026 keynote in Taipei. The company will produce its own chips to power Windows PCs.

These systems on a chip (SoC) will integrate CPU, GPU, and AI functions. TSMC will manufacture the processors using its 3nm process.

This move positions NVIDIA as a direct competitor to Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. Major manufacturers including Microsoft and Dell are reportedly preparing devices featuring the new hardware.

The strategy aligns with the upcoming debut of NVIDIA’s Rubin GPU architecture. This expansion solidifies the company’s influence across gaming, AI, and personal computing sectors.
