KPMG withdrew its report titled "Redefining Excellence in the Age of Agentic AI." The document contained fabricated case studies apparently generated by AI. False claims targeted AI adoption at Swiss bank UBS and the UK’s National Health Service.

AI-detection group GPTZero identified the inaccuracies. It found that the majority of the report's citations were flawed or fake. The report falsely claimed UBS used a Microsoft-developed AI platform for investment advisory and risk management.

UBS described the statement as "factually incorrect." KPMG removed the report from its websites and launched an internal review. The firm stated it takes the accuracy of its content seriously.
