The Turkish Competition Board approved Uber's acquisition of Getir's delivery arm. Uber will take over Getir's food, grocery, and retail delivery services. Emirati fund Mubadala, Getir's controlling shareholder, will transfer these operations. The deal was first announced in February 2026.

Uber expands its presence in Turkey. It will integrate Getir's operations with Trendyol Go, a local delivery platform in which Uber has invested. Uber committed a $500 million investment in Turkey. This investment will support employment and digital infrastructure development.

Getir was once valued at nearly $12 billion. The company had retreated from international markets due to financial struggles.
