MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9600 series, its latest flagship mobile platform. The high-end Dimensity 9600 Pro utilizes TSMC’s advanced 2nm process technology. This partnership marks the first commercial adoption of TSMC’s most sophisticated manufacturing node.
The Dimensity 9600 Pro increases single-core performance by approximately 17%. Multi-core performance improves by 15% compared to the previous generation. Power consumption on the super cores dropped by about 37%.
This launch supports projections for Taiwan’s record economic growth in 2026. Global demand for semiconductor and AI hardware exports drives this expansion.
