Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. finalized an agreement with the U.S. government to reduce the cost of select medicines for Medicaid patients. The company said the deal is intended to make its medicines more affordable and accessible.

Under the agreement, Teva will maintain a dedicated reserve of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to support public health needs. The company also plans to invest in U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturing to help strengthen the domestic medicine supply chain.
