Teledyne Digital Imaging US introduced a new space-ready camera featuring the Emerald 67M CMOS image sensor. The subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies developed the product through an intellectual property licensing agreement with Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL).

The agreement grants Teledyne the rights to commercialize SDL’s sensor electronics technology. Teledyne will integrate SDL’s flight-proven camera experience with its own high-performance sensors and U.S.-based manufacturing.

The new camera targets applications in space situational awareness, Earth observation, and national security. This collaboration aims to accelerate Teledyne’s development of advanced space imaging products.
